As we relaunch our Kids Ministry we plan to take a slightly different approach. Rather than catering for school years 1-6, we plan to develop a family ministry approach. This will mean that our young high schoolers will be able to attend until they feel ready to attend the main service, but also, that some of our younger ones will also be able to attend as they become ready. Our heart is to create an environment that resembles the tapestry of home.
As we develop this, we’re excited to see what this can look like. We are inviting each family to make the journey with us and to get involved; to come and worship, share a story, a testimony, a craft or what ever the Lord puts on your heart.
We will start this during the service on a Sunday morning, and we hope that families will get involved taking a week on the rota along with all our regular kids workers.
We now have the go ahead to reintroduce teas and coffees following our services at Liberty. We are looking for a team with a passion to serve and connect with people while working in our Café. We’ll start simple, and work towards developing our barista staff. In the future, we dream of opening our café through the week, and pray that it becomes a place where people can find Jesus, as well as the prayer, love and support of our Church family.
Our worship and media team has really been such a blessing to us all at Liberty during the last season. They have given so sacrificially when due to restrictions (bubbles etc) no one else could. Thank you so much!
We are excited to announce that both our Worship Team and Media Team is able to take on new people. If you have a talent that you would like to offer to the Lord in the area of worship, we would love to hear from you.
The Worship and Media Team has formed it’s own ‘Be Group’ that meets on a Tuesday Evening at 7pm. It’s a time of pursuing the heart of Jesus in our lives and encouraging each other as we grow in our worship expression together.
